Our Team | Dr Raj Shiwach

RAJ SHIWACH, MD, MRCPSYCH

RAJ SHIWACH, MD, MRCPSYCH (UK) is a board-certified psychiatrist who has been practicing in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex for over a decade. He has completed psychiatric residencies in the UK and at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. He serves as the Principal Investigator for InSite Clinical Research and is an attending physician as well as the Medical Director at Hickory Trail Hospital in DeSoto. His dual interest in both research and clinical practice distinguishes Dr. Shiwach among his peers, and he is held in high esteem by colleagues and patients alike. Personal interests include spending time with his wife, Sue and their five children. He also finds time to pursue his hobbies of reading, jogging, and collecting ancient artifacts.

Maria

Maria has been working for Dr. Shiwach since 2017. She is a certified MA and, Certified phlebotomist. She also works with front office and billing. She is CPR trained and has completed HIPPA training.

Stephanie

Stephanie has been working for Dr. Shiwach since 2004. She is a certified nurse assistant and mental health technician. Her experience varies from front office, back office and billing. She is CPR trained and has completed HIPPA training annually.

Emily

Emily has been a certified medical assistant since 2018. She is the receptionist and our new patient coordinator at our practice. She checks vital signs, medication lists, and administers injections. She responds to messages from our patients. She is also certified for CPR and HIPPA.

Anita Shiwach

Anita Shiwach is a Physician Assistant that works in conjunction with the doctor to diagnose, treat and evaluate psychiatric disorders. She is a graduate of the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. Ms. Anita Shiwach also has a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, obtained at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Ms. Shiwach has been practicing as a Physician Assistant since October of 2018. She is nationally certified and joined the MDPA group in 2018 shortly after graduation.

Eucharia Onwubuya

Team-oriented, Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, including an established track record of maintaining strong relationships with patients, clients, co-workers, and healthcare networks. I am a highly-skilled healthcare professional with more than 25 years of practical experience in clinical and correctional care environments—including numerous supervisory positions. I obtained my Masters in nursing degree from Walden University and received my Bachelors of Science degree at Grand Canyon University in Arizona. I demonstrate a proficient ability to work on multiple tasks in a reasonable and efficient manner. Widely recognized as an excellent care provider and a patient advocate. Administrative and referral experience including admission, assessments, treatments, referral, and education for a wide variety of patients.

Kimberly Onwubuya

Kimberly has been in the healthcare industry for 5 years with experience in cardiology, surgery, and psychiatric services. She received her Master’s degree in nursing from Walden University in Minneapolis. She is board certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She graduated Cum Laude from Walden University for her Masters of Science in nursing degree and obtained her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from West Coast University in Dallas, Texas. She is board certified with the Texas Board of Nursing as an Advanced Practice Nurse with a specialization in psychiatry. Kimberly’s clinical experience is with children, adolescents, and adults with psychiatric disorders including - anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder and many other diagnoses. Kimberly joined the MDPA Group in May 2019 working in collaboration with Dr. Shiwach to diagnose, treat, and evaluate psychiatric disorders.

Roel Sepulveda

Roel has been in the healthcare industry for 7 years with varied experience in psychiatry, trauma, and emergency services. He received his Master’s degree in nursing from The University of Alabama at Birmingham. He is board certified as Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. He graduated Cum Laude from Texas Woman’s University with his Bachelor of Science in Nursing. He also earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with Cum Laude from The University of Texas at Dallas. He earned a Master of Business Administration degree from The University of Dallas. He is board certified with the Texas Board of Nursing as an Advanced Practice Nurse with a specialization in psychiatry. Roel’s clinical experience is with children, adolescents, and adults with psychiatric disorders including - anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder and many other diagnoses. Roel joined the MDPA Group in November 2018 working in collaboration with Dr. Shiwach to diagnose, treat, and evaluate psychiatric disorders.
